You might have seen this when I posted it a while back. I'm only posting it again because it's a better bit rate -- high VBR, around 250 kbps. Oh wait, also, this is one of my favorite records of the year. Nick Reinhart (of Tera Melos) and Zach Hill (of Hella and fucking everything) present something ridiculous and mathy and poppy and heavy in a way that only they could pull off. Nothing else can prepare you for Grails. This album is worth listening to just for the last track, "Acid Rain". It reminds me of the opener of Deerhunter's new record, "Cover Me (Slowly)", except it's eight minutes of the same bliss. Everything tastes different.
